Janitza is known worldwide as a producer and supplier of a wide range of measurement devices as well as accompanying software, services and power quality solutions. Janitza electronics GmbH is nowadays globally well known as supplier of smart energy management systems (ISO 50001), energy measurement devices, class-A-power quality monitoring systems, power analyzers, power factor controllers, and power quality solutions, such as PFC-systems and harmonic filters. Our UMGs, GridVis® software and components unite 3 solutions - energy management, power quality monitoring and ground fault monitoring (RCM) - within a common system environment.

The product range offered by Janitza provides complete system solutions for modern energy data management (e.g. ISO 50001), power quality and residual current monitoring.

Alongside measurement devices and software, Janitza also offers the associated services – a complete solution that guarantees efficient energy management. This includes: Energy measurement technology, class A network quality analysers compliant with standard EN 50160, energy management systems, digital integrated measurement devices, mobile power quality analysers, power factor controllers, harmonic filters and compensation systems. Alongside consultation and the development of technical solutions, Janitza also carries out commissioning, courses and training with customers and provides maintenance and support for the systems.

Janitza develops and manufactures the complete range of products (hardware and software) at their site in Lahnau, Germany – just as they always have.
Modularly expandable power analyzer UMG 96 PQ-L


The UMG 96-PQ-L extends the 96 series with a wide range of useful functions. The power analyzer stands out with its large memory that offers up to 15 years of records thanks to a special compression of the data. Memory partitioning preserves the long storage time of current, power and cos phi even with high resolution power quality measurement. This keeps your data safe and always available.

Modularly expandable energy measurement device UMG 801

A key success factor for modern companies is transparency across all data levels. Data from all company divisions must be acquired and consolidated. This objective entails a number of challenges, because different standards and communication options must be coordinated with each other.

The Janitza UMG 801 energy measurement device offers various communication interfaces and enables direct data transmission to higher-level systems via OPC UA, eliminating the need for costly integration.

The Janitza UMG 512-PRO is particularly well suited to the monitoring of power quality in accordance with current standards, e.g. EN 50160, IEEE519 or EN 61000-2-4. All power quality parameters are recorded and analysed, e.g. flicker, short-time interruptions with fault recorder function, etc. Comprehensive communication options, e.g. Ethernet (TCP/IP) with multi-port access, BACnet, Modbus, Profi bus, etc. enable cost-effi cient and rapid integration into existing communication architectures.
