Active Harmonic Filter Series “POWER BALANCE”

Clean power reduces costs.
With the increasing demands of electronic consumers, the subject of network quality is becoming more and more important. SCHAEFER's latest generation of active harmonic filters optimize reliable power quality. They offer an elegant and maintenance-free solution to protect your power supply and operational processes: critical network isturbances, harmonics, unsymmetrical mains supply, inductive and
capacitive reactive power, flicker-noise & resonance effects.

Fastest response time on the market.
With POWER BALANCE SCHAEFER has brought digital active harmonic filters to the market, which eliminates harmonics and reactive power automatically with a response time of 21ƒÊs. Thus POWER BALANCE is the fastest filter on the market, which uses a considerably high switching frequency of 24kHz and a very low power dissipation of 450W per module for high versatility and energy efficiency.

Modular and expandable design for maximum flexibility.
The filter is designed in modular easily cascadable 60A units that guarantee a user-friendly and easy Installation by Plug & Play function. So using the modular principle the Filters can easily be expanded for reasons of performance enhancement. Available are: plug-in modules that can be installed into existing switchgears, compact wall mounted or pre-wired enclosures with compensation currents of up to 300A as 5x60A

Progressive and digital.
Provided as air-cooled or alternatively with an internal water cooling circuit version, the filters can be increased to protection IP42, IP54 and more. Because of the wide input voltage range (200V to 480V, 47 to 63 Hz), the filters are universal and can be used worldwide. A reliable operation of the active harmonic filter is guaranteed even at a wide temperature range. For ease of operation and commissioning there is a touch panel with integrated autocommissioning, also auto-detection of the current transformers and a built in power quality meter. There is an
Ethernet TCP interface for remote maintenance.
