About us
A123 Systems was founded in 2001 as an MIT start-up in Boston, USA, with the aim of developing innovative battery solutions for all applications. Since then, A123 Systems has become a global leader in the development and production of lithium-ion batteries and complete solutions for energy storage. The product range includes modular BESS systems for grid operators, industry and private households as well as custom-specific battery designs for e-mobility applications. In 2016, A123 Systems GmbH was founded in Germany to meet the needs of the European market directly with customized solutions and individual customer support. Today, the Wanxiang A123 Group is headquartered in Hangzhou, China, with additional subsidiaries focussing on development in the USA and production in the Czech Republic.

A-POWER I 800 5ft Container
Minimize your carbon footprint with eco-friendly shipping and packaging. The pre-assembled, plug-and-play design ensures quick installation and reduced deployment costs. Each A-POWER I 800 undergoes strict factory testing for optimal performance and reliability. It includes three levels of fire suppression to reduce risks at the pack, rack, and container levels. Powered by prismatic LFP cells, it offers 6000 full cycles with 80% State of Health (SOH) at end of life. The system operates in temperatures from -20°C to +50°C, ensuring reliable performance in various climates. Advanced safety features include pressure control deflagration valves and a closed-loop cooling system. Our scalable BESS is customizable to suit different applications and sizes. With high-volume production, we guarantee consistent quality and performance. The modular design offers extra housing protection for enhanced safety.
