High Voltage Fuses
High-voltage fuse links provide protection in medium-voltage systems. Their big selling point is their ability to interrupt short circuits extremely quickly. That effectively protects equipment and components from the dynamic and thermal effects of short circuits. SIBA HV fuses protect every stage of the power supply: from long-lived fuses featuring ICS technology in wind turbines to protection devices for large transformers or other energy generation and distribution systems in the 3 to 40.5 kilovolt range.
Low Voltage Fuses
Low-voltage high-breaking-capacity fuses are used wherever high and medium voltage is stepped down for users: switchgear, control cabinets, large electric machines, residential and commercial service entrances with voltages ranging from 250 to 1600 volts. SIBA LV fuses provide solid protection from damage caused by faults in the electrical equipment or mistakes made during installation.
Ultra Rapid Fuses
Power semiconductors are becoming increasingly important. They control machines and systems in industry and play a pivotal role in photovoltaics, wind energy and battery systems. However, their electrical protection requires very special fuses - fuses that have to be short circuit-proof and able to interrupt circuits quickly, among other things. Our ultra-rapid products meet these demanding requirements.
Miniature Fuses
Industrial electronics is the central nervous system of industry, ranging from measurement devices and sensors to machine controls. SIBA miniature fuses protect high-end industrial electronics from damage caused by excessive currents and voltages. Their most important feature is that they pack reliable breaking capacity into a tiny footprint since electronic components generally have to be kept as small as possible.
