Products & Services

High Performance system (HP)
HVR offers the largest selection of SiC Varistor discs on the market. What would be a non-standard for others is a standard for us.
Our discs are designed and developed to withstand a continuous temperature rating of 200°C. This allows a unique energy rating of our ceramic.
Our advanced technology allows us to offer the most cost-effective solution to our customers. We select our discs within a very tight tolerance for each project to give the best stability. For smaller projects we have a huge stock on discs at different production stages.
Relay Protection
In Applications of high impedance relays an HVR non-linear resistor may be required to limit the current transformer secondary voltage to safe level during a maximum internal fault condition. The relevant HVR non-linear resistor depends on the setting voltage of the relay and the maximum secondary internal fault current.
CTPU / Current Transformer Protection Unit:
A major operational risk that can occur with a current transformer (CT) is when the secondary circuit has an open circuit condition whereas the primary circuit is still energized. This could happen during a routine maintenance of the burden or because of damages on leads or contacts. High voltage transients could damage the CT winding which may lead to further destructions.
With the HVR Current Transformer Protection Unit (CTPU) you can protect your CT against these operational risks.
The only limitation that can stop us is the physics of the SiC material. HVR offers the larges standard range on CTPU’s. We work very close with our customers to solve their specific needs. If it is not part of our standard range it becomes one.
