Together with Toyota we developed combustion engines for continuous power generation with maintenance intervals up to 6,000 hours. These two engines are based on the CHP engine technology of Toyota. The two engines exhibited on this show are the 1KS and the 4Y IMT engines.
The power output of the 1KS on natural gas can be 8kWe @ 1.500 rpm and up to 18KWe @ 3.000 rpm.
While the 4Y engine on natural gas can produce 18 KWe @ 1.500 rpm up to 30 KWe @ 2.600 rpm.
Both engines can be operated at 1.500 rpm, 1.800 rpm or variable speed for DC Power applications.
The first engines are already in operation at Telecom sites or street lighting systems.
For different types of fuels, the engines can be calibrated on demand. Right now, the engines can be operated with a variety of different fuels e.g.: natural gas, propane, butane, biogas, hydrogen and methanol.
Beside the Toyota based engines we can also offer other Diesel and gas engines in different power ranges.
