Winkelmann Elektromotoren GmbH & CoKG produces customized direct current electric drives. The focus is on power plants, railway and trains, cranes, test rigs, oil and gas and mining industrial equipment. Our direct current (DC) motors are customized and built according to the electrical and mechanical requirements of your project. The motors are long lasting and bulit on very high quality standard to minimise costs during life time. All motors are bulit in Germany and components are sourced globally to secure a save supply. Emergency lube system motors are delivered for more than 40 years and we are listed at major OEMs world wide.
Explosion Proof Direct Current Electric Motors
In areas with explosive atmosphere e.g. natural gas or hydrogen our certified explosion direct motors are the best choice. All products are customized and built in Germany. The motors are certified according IECEx, USQPS, EAC and many other certifications on request. The motors are just working on the time those are needed and have the highest quality standard. Major turbine manufacturers prefer Winkelmann DC motors for the extremely high reliability and serveability. The total life time costs are very low compared to other solutions.
