The compact MCF100 lightning current and surge arrester made by OBO is characterized by a protection level of ≤ 1.5 kV. It has a lightning current arresting capacity up to 100 kA (10/350), 3+NPE and is suitable for lightning protection equipotential bonding to VDE 0185-305 (IEC 62305). Typical application areas for the MCF100 are industrial systems and buildings with external lightning protection of the highest class I to IV.
