NEW: The DFS 4 040-4/0,01-A
Where humans and water come into contact, 10 mA RCCBs are required. 2-pole switches are available from 16 A to 40 A, while 4-pole switches were previously only available up to 25 A. The popular DFS 4 is now also available in a 40 A version - the ideal choice for protecting pools, jacuzzis and other facilities where electricity, water and people come together.
The IEC standard 60364-7-701 describes: For protection in wet rooms, personal protection of ≤ 30 mA is required
For example, in swimming pools and Jacuzzis, motors for pumps might require rated currents in the range of 40 A
The 10 mA version provides an increased protection level
